Pilates

I am passionate about movement.

The older we get, and this can come and surprise us with the onset of the peri-menopause (for the ladies! ) our bodies change, and we need to make sure we keep our bodies the best they can be. Pilates can give you this; helping with stability, control, balance, flow, breath, precision - an all round body improvement exercise.  Its not all about the core - it is so much more.

Pilates is also good for your mental health, as it acts like a mindfulness with movement session. An hour for yourself to switch off.

I teach Beginner and Beginner Improver classes in New Malden.   Some intermediate exercises are introduced as and when I feel it is class appropriate.  My classes give you a good solid base, working on the Pilates Principles as taught by Joseph Stott, and building on that.

All new participants are recommended a 1:1 session before they start if they have never done Pilates before to enable you to join the class with a good base knowledge

Men are welcome, I do have men in my classes.  I keep classes small ; max 12 students to give everyone my best attention (due to holidays and illness it averages 8-10 attendees)
