Sound Baths
What should you expect:
You lay down on a mat, with as many props, blankets, eye masks, whatever makes you feel cosy and comfortable. I provide the former, but if you need anything extra, feel free to bring it along.
The session will start with a guided meditation/body scanning/breathing techniques, to help start the process of relaxation.
I sit at the front of the room, with various singing bowls and other instruments, to fill the room with sound for about 40 minutes. The sounds will be various, and there will be periods of silence. Sometimes I might pause and read a poem.

The Effect
Sound sessions are most often relaxing, but not always. Sometimes you may experience a revelation or emotion that may be difficult. More often or not, this feeling might be useful and enlightening and help you process some emotions you are dealing with. It is totally fine and normal. I create a safe space, and you will be supported.
Just allow these emotions to be so. You are always welcome to discuss with me what comes up, but I am not a trained counsellor or mental health specialist. Most people get a sense of deep relaxation, and maybe see colours.

No bowls will be placed upon you, but it would be best just to alert me if you have epilepsy, are in the first trimester of pregnancy or have any metal joints or a pacemaker.
